BEA Business Summit India 2026 Marks a Powerful Beginning for Global Entrepreneurial Cooperation
April 18–19, 2026 marked a significant and successful beginning for international entrepreneurial cooperation, as the BRICS Entrepreneurs Alliance (BEA) Business Summit India unfolded with remarkable scale and significance at the iconic Taj Krishna in Hyderabad. Bringing together influential leaders, policymakers, and entrepreneurs, the summit marked a powerful launch of BEA India’s mission to unite MSMEs on a common platform for global growth. The event stood out not only for its ambition, but also for the distinguished caliber of its participants.
The summit opened with a Welcome Address delivered by Dr. Bhaskar J Sonowal, CEO & Executive Director, BEA-India, who outlined the vision, mission, and roadmap of the organization. The summit welcomed Shri Jitan Ram Manjhi, Hon’ble Minister of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises, Government of India, whose encouraging words and visionary outlook on strengthening the MSME ecosystem and accelerating inclusive economic development inspired participants across the board. Among the honored guests were also Shri Raj Bhushan Choudhary, Hon’ble Minister of State, Ministry of Jal Shakti; Shri Maganti Murali Mohan; and Lt Gen. Arun Sahni, Member of the Governing Council of India Foundation. Their participation brought valuable perspectives to the discussions, particularly on sustainability, infrastructure development, and responsible growth, significantly enriching the dialogue.
The summit also welcomed a distinguished international delegation, including Mr. Evgeny Skomorovskiy, President of the Russian National Chapter of BEA, Vice President of the Moscow Chamber of Commerce and Trade, and President of the Association of Real Estate Agencies of Russia, and Mr. Boris Tarasov, Secretary General of the BEA Global, CEO and founder of the BRICS Traditional Values Forum. Their participation highlighted both the growing depth of Russia–India business ties within the BRICS framework and a broader vision of aligning economic cooperation with shared cultural and societal values.
The summit also witnessed the signing of a declaration, hereafter referred to as the “Hyderabad Declaration”, which outlines the Alliance’s strategic direction for the development of MSMEs and the expansion of international cooperation.
Beyond formal sessions, the summit evolved into a vibrant space of connection and opportunity, where conversations naturally translated into actionable ideas. As the first in a series of engagements planned for the year, the Hyderabad gathering set a high benchmark and generated strong momentum for future initiatives.
